As the year draws to a close and a new one beckons, I’m filled with a sense of anticipation and excitement for what lies ahead. Like many of you, I’ve spent the past few weeks reflecting on my personal growth and the goals I hope to achieve in 2024. New Year’s resolutions have always held a special place in my heart, serving as a reminder that I am the sole person in charge of the year to come.
How did my 2023 New Year’s Resolution go for me?
In 2023, my focus was on personal and professional growth more than ever. I had always struggled with maintaining a healthy lifestyle, never been a fit person, never practiced a sport. However, 2023 was a great year for me to start working on these aspects.
I’ve been pushing myself out of my comfort zone and it paid out. I’ve started eating more meaningfully, reducing carbs more than ever, mostly because the food I had been eating made me feel sick most of the time. I’ve worked on my posture, built my back muscles that have to work hard to keep my spine in place (bad posture is no joke), and signed up for a Barre class (which also toned my muscles).
I’ve been pretty happy with how things went for 2023, but now, let’s focus on the 2024 New Year’s Resolution ideas that will help us both achieve personal growth.
